This is a wonderful album, and I like it as much for John Bunch's accompaniment as I do for Vache's playing. Listen to Out of Nowhere and I'm Old Fashioned carefully. If you don't end up shaking your head at the kind of talent these guys displayed, then you should be listen to some other kind of music.

In the 1980s in jazz, the jazz community shrank dramatically and split. A mainly older audience retained an interest in traditional and straight-ahead jazz styles.
